Clinique Anti-Blemish Update
Hey! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves over Easter. So, I've been trying to keep up with using the 3 step system twice a day, but I've been very lazy over Easter, and I've only been using it once a day. I've had a few breakouts recently, but I think thats just getting rid of what's already there on my skin - if that make sense. At the moment I don't have any breakouts except for maybe a couple of teeny tiny ones. The only major blemishes on my face at the moment is left over acne scarring which looks like spots! So the 3 Step seems to be working pretty well at keeping me spot free. The next thing for me is either learning how to cover the old scars really effectivley, or finding a product to get rid of the scars. Any suggestions from anyone?

Covering Blemishes
This is the best way I've found to cover blemishes so far.
First, I apply moisturizer, so that the surface of the spot is as smooth as possible, and easier to cover. I then apply Mac Studio Finish Concealor with a Mac 224 brush to all the blemishes/redness on my face. Then I put on my foundation with a normal foundation brush, and then finally blend everything out with a duo fibre stippling brush.
I hope this helps in some way. Has anyone got any tips for the best way to cover blemishes - any advice would be great!!

Clinique Anti Blemish... Update.
So, it's day 3 of using these products, and I've decided to do a Pro list and a Con list. (Just remember I have only been using this for three days, so it's probably too soon to see any major results anyway)
Ok, so first.... The Pros.
Pros
-No brand new blemishes have formed yet.
-The moisturizer (3rd step) is a relief after the drying preivous steps (see Cons list)
Cons
-The first two steps are very drying - my face is literally painfully dry and tight until I apply the moisturizer.
-My forehead looks like it has botox it's so tight - not such a bad thing I guess, but a bit painful!
-If my skin is a bit dry before I use these products, the 2nd step BURNS. I have to quickly massage in a load of the moisturizer to calm it down. (But like I say, this only happens if my skin is quite dry BEFORE I put them on, and it's been fine most of the time)
-The spots I do have that were just red lumps under the skin have been "brought out" and now have heads... (ew) and I am seriously trying not to squeeze them as to let the products do their work properly. However, this might not be a bad thing in the long run; things mostly have to get worse before they can get better, and hopefully this will bring out all the bad spotty stuff so it dissappears and never bothers me again! Yay!
So, the past couple of days, I've been seriously inspecting my skin, to see how it goes, and I've noticed that a LOT of what I thought was spots/zits/acne/whatever is actually bad scars left over from previous spots. The Clinique 3 step does nothing towards getting rid of old scars, so I do have to reeeally look closely at my skin to see whats going on with my actual spots - as the scars look just as bad. Anyone suffer the same? Can anyone recommend anything good for my old acne scars? I'm tempted to use Bio Oil, but I am VERY wary of putting oil on my skin... I'm sure thats not a good idea!! xxx

Could this be the miracle product I've been looking for?
Sooo.... I've decided now is the time these spots are LEAVING thank you very much. So I invested in the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions 3-Step System.
This includes the Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam, Clarifying Lotion and Clearing Moisturiser.
The idea is you use these 3 steps twice a day, and your spots will soon vamoosh.
So, this is the third day I've been using this, and while I can't really see much difference with what I've already got yet (it is really soon, I know), I don't think any new spots have formed, which is good!
So, I'll keep you updated on how I'm doing with this... Anyone else used this? How did it go?
Wish me luck with this!
